Captivation and Carnage

By DyingWorlds

Blink again, you might miss the twilight,
and with it the cherished stars
And even in this field of dreams and hopes
you cannot hide your scars.
Amongst the soft and carressing breeze,
you splendour at Dawn's first light.
And though the night dies so quickly,
it cannot kill the secrets inside.
Asphyxiating on the beauty,
the words can only say so much.
Although the petals enthral you
it's the thorns you should not touch.
It's a shame the such a pretty thing
can be so ugly within,
a porcelein beauty doth betray
a monsterous fallacy of sin.
