Waiting for Change

When a answer has been laid down
When the pressure has been released
When things begin to calm down
Is it lost?
When the cork has been resealed
And the bottle locked away
Is it over?
Can things change?
Can a person change?
When all the defences are down
When the mind is straight
It seems only natural for someone to pull the trigger
If you know what you want
But can never get it
Then you don't match
And you are doomed to live incomplete
When you can never move anyone
When you have too many friends
You're alone
When you love to share experiences
When you want to give yourself to someone
But no one's there
Then you might as well die
Because you can't give the right things
