An Ode
By Hurtmeplease
Dark reflections, reflecting images
confusion bundled in a mass at my feet
pools of red gathering on the ground
no one's here anymore
there was about a minute ago
he ran away in insanity
she fell to the ground
and I am nothing now
I can not feel
crouched over the limp flesh
it's still warm
I remember that warmth
I used it so many times for comfort
the eyes stare at the blurred candles in the sky
Sleep now, I'll take care of you
lifting the lifeless body
I put her in the blue locomotive room
strapped the protective device around her
turned the small removable handle to the round disc
and the room came to life
it was the only thing alive
running through the past I glided a foot above the ground
He was a passing smell
cocealing his fragrance of death with friendliness
until the mask came off and terrifying lust was unleashed
violent movements began, I in the middle of the dance
a force sent my body in a perpetual motion toward solidness
I heard an abnormal sound accompanied by a shrilling scream
then I hit blackness
when I aroused myself I found death
Someone threw a lake on me
I can not see through the water
emotion returns to emotional suicide
sounds coming from other moving rooms on the path
love overpowers and takes control of the room
she is cold now everything has been taken away from her
her intelligence which made me love her
her personality which made her so interesting
her smile which gave me confidence
her beauty was even gone, which made her perfect
her blood drained out of her which made her so warm
and me, I was gone from her
the semi-circle in front of me was pointing to 80
it didn't want to stop
it had to go through all the numbers then it still didn't stop
it vibrated back and forth
flashing blood projecting in my back window
screeching sounds protruding the air around me
Go away, leave me alone, do I need to be reminded constantly
I'm nothing to any one any more
An invisible stranger destroyed my whole life!
there is one thing I can return to her
me
but my decision was made on the grounds of I without her
not she without me
then I saw my destination
the metal frame work that makes a path go over another
I drove right for it with the blood and screams behind me
falling quietly I looked at her
something else was being returned to her
her smile
metal crashing upon metal
erupted into flames then blackness
I took six other people with me

definitely dark and eerily detailed and the timing adds to the lugubriousness of this piece... seems more here than meets the eye
