He does not Hide

By desolate_paradox

His words were of kindness,
Recognizing the substance you do not know,
His thoughts were uplifting,
Where the sticky sweetness of your lies does not reach.

He is clear,
Like a breeze I can see his direction,
You force the flag,
Like a stake at its heart.

Your words pour down,
Weighing the rescue to sink,
Your lies drip red,
Like the blood of your ally’s defense.

As an opponent he hides nothing,
His defense strong from the light,
As a rival your words taint the shield,
And you shine a bright target,
In a grey shaded world.

I laugh,
As if wickedness could hide,
The tragedy that is you . . .
And yours!
