Rebirthing Snow

By EnlightenedFailure

Flakes of frozen hope fall from the sky
Floating so gently
They land on my face and melt
Releasing their hope from the heavens

Your head lies there on my chest
The cold’s numbness in my butt
Snow covers my face
And your laughter follows

We run and play
Feeling as though we are three
With out a care in the world

Time flying by
As we fall in the snow
As we run and slip
Time drifting away in your company

So wonderful is it all…

That phone call…
Such relief it brought you
Taking away your burden

Happiness returning to your face…
Such relief it brought to me
Filling me with joy

Walking together…
Holding you close

I again have my friend

My dear Colie
