ALONE on new years

By EnlightenedFailure

What a feeling to have
Wishing to ease your pain in a drink
Being alone on such a day
Apart you are from those who care

On the couch I sit watching this screen
On the couch I sit counting down
A bottle of scotch not to far away
An urge to erase this moment
I hear laughter from the house next door
A house full of love
In my house there is not laughter
In my house there is not love
In my house there is only pain
For I Sit Here Alone
