scarlet skies

By Cassandra

the angels are dying
the sky is falling
and sunlight stencils each step rewound

broken and mangled in a puddle of raindrop romances long forgotten
i shriek for release and mourn a faded canvas stretched along the pier
blessed with the promise of sin igniting a collapsed moonlight
i imagine you dance with the devils and make the fallen swoon
paint meadows in my eyes and weave pixies into my eyelashes
.pretty. me
.perfect. me
.fossilize. me

emerald lagoons painted courtesy of sin harvest pallid moonlight
calloused fingertips longing to molest stars before their demise
i vomit broken hearts and cry for ashtray hopes washed away by the rain
and with a final waltz of desperation i am lost in the residue of our ocean
a mermaid harpooned against the rocky shores bound within your eyes
where i am a loner in a home of holes punched through the night
a scarlet comet and shooting stars

the heavens have fallen, love

if you would like to know why i haven't been around, drop me a dpmail.

i dont know about dancing but there was some nice imagery there except for the molesting stars, how perverse lol but anyway i really got lost in there, in all those red letters
