Lustful Collision

By kiss of the dark

You had ember butterflies
In your carved emerald eyes,
They fluttered like a frightened heart
In a child's chest, at the sight of the stars.

Black streets reflected the
Pallid glow of your lips that night.

Smooth, crazed, clouded thoughts,
Slip out your throat and drip
Off your tongue.

A distinctive longing
Is present in your breath,
Resurrecting a memory in my mind that
Screams for redemption.

Grasping my cold hand in yours,
I follow you.
To your chambers,
Encumbered with rich roses
And the opaque scent of a king.

You softly unwrap me
And lay me down
In your silken sheets.
I wallow in them like wine.

You sing me a lover's lullaby,
And cradle me close.

*LUSTFUL*COLLISION*

Warm slumber encompasses us...

...roses in hand.

With the afterbirth of kisses
Still swarming on our tongues.
