Damien Kane

By kiss of the dark

In a castle buried within a
Vermillion dream,
My darling Damien Kane,
dances in the scarlet rain,
And kisses me under
the ebony leaf.

Trances and songs of dreary causes,
Damien Kane tears them away,
reprieving me of the forsaken gifts,
And the grief of my losses.

Icy breaths and olive skin,
The sweet tongue of
My darling Damien Kane,
stains me with the taste
Of a cherub's wing...

In a castle buried within a
Vermillion dream,
My darling Damien Kane,
Cradles me close
Underneath the burnt sky,
and rotten clouds,
a dark cream.

Vowed to be wed,
on All Hallow's Eve,
My darling Damien Kane,
my groom dressed in ink and shadows,
Was taken from me.

Out of the glooming crevice
in the twilight's ascher rouge,
A black seraph flew, and slew
My darling Damien Kane,
my sordid prince labeled by the
Reaper's truth.

In a castle buried within a
Vermillion dream,
I sleep close to
My darling Damien Kane,
Surrounded by fireflies and soil,
in a cherrywood coffin,
Underneath cursed black sands,
And a forsaken horizon.
