Short Lived Legacy III: Mannequin Massacre

By Armour

And with this knife named depression
I would kill away this pain
I won't cut an artery
But I will cut a vein
Designed with crucial intensity
How could perfection be so flawed
Modled from an angel of heaven
But, all of her limbs have been sawed

And I'll take myself from this place
Retrive my heart and go somewhere safe
With all of the mannequins in the world today
It's to easy to be fooled when you hear them say

"Your life. is so easy when I am around."
"I'll stay to keep your feet on the ground."

She'll keep her modled heart right next to yours
And it's so hard to tell that's your blood on the floors
Raise up this drink and toast to your life
So ready to end with the tip of this knife
Cut up the pictures taped to your wall
Swallow your pride and prepare to fall

And I'll take myself from this place
Retrive my heart and go somewhere safe
With all of the mannequins in the world today
It's to easy to be fooled when you hear them say

"Even with that knife, I'm not going to stay."
"And yes I know, I vowed forever that day."
"With you in this fire, I'll burn myself anew."
"But, I'd still like to stay friends with you."
