Dearest Dissonance IV: Dethrone and Deter

By Armour

Grace.. has seen better days
This faith.. seeks easier ways
Dear brother, ..myself alone
We love you, ..as if our own
Remember your past, but don't live it out
Use it to advantage and rise above doubt

Hold on now..
It's not much more
An easy vow..
Is such a life-long chore

Looking back now
Will lock in that day
Recorded in memories
Dreams like black emery

With no gem to polish and bring out from within
No sight of hope in rough guise of repetitive sin
Dear Brother, marked in these pages lays an answer
Reverse the lies to reveal a path of prudent cancer
Undoubtedly lost in the past we birth the venom
Each manifestation of the five a party for plenum

Looking back now
We remember them
Recorded in memories
We're sailing high seas

It's hard to stare straight ahead
When you're regretting the dead
But, we'll remember them, our fathers
For hearts that have grown to bother

Dear Brother, ..hold on tight
The ride's a little rough tonight
We'll protect you from all above
In your quest for acceptance love
Your future looks grim and god save
The lands your stride are their grave

Don't forget me, we'll miss you
Don't forget me, we'll miss you
We were just to scared to realize
Now we'll find a way, without you
Now we'll find a way, without you
Now we'll find a way, without you
