Long day
By addicted_angel
Red tears fall from Black skies overhead
Washing pain’s memory from her skin
Like dawn after the longest night of your life
Feelings flood away in rivers of release
Freeing all from the touch of darkness
Brushing against pale white skin
Against blue-black eyes and smeared cheeks
The breeze kisses her cleanly
Erasing bits of gray
The sun appears in small sections
Above the imaginary line
In the center of the universe
And soothes her cracked and burning lips
Now bent slightly to a smile

Beautiful imagery you've given us to read through. Every word was just another picture imprinted on the backs of my eyelids. Gorgeous write. *Evangel*
