Her silky satin skin was luscious; her curves were flawless in her all black wardrobe, decorated with chains dropping every which way from her waist. She strutted down the hall, smiling with a red flare in her eye, running her hand down her thick leg. I saw that Amber’s wingman, Blaise Jorgens, was right beside her, flipping her purple tinted hair out of her face as they hooked arms. They were in perfect sync with each other, never missing one step down the hall.

“I wish they would just get over themselves.” A rugged voice said in my ear, almost waking me up from my trance. I reached out to close my locker when I felt a claw dig into my arm, ripping my flesh, revealing red cracks of muscle and fat. I winced attempting to pull the sharp steeple points out, gasping for air. Books fell as pale hands reached into my locker, searching for something in particular. The glimmer of Blaise’s skin blinded me as the fluorescent lights reflected off of her arms into my hazel eyes.

“Sooo Kenya, you comin to the party tonight?” Amber asked, pulling me closer to her. She took hold of my crooked chin and forced me to look into her malicious smiling face. I gulped and smiled nervously as I nodded, or rather, she nodded me. She laughed and let my face go as she leaned against the fiery red lockers of our school. Her eyes were obsidian and gleaming with radiance that made her pop out even more. Although she caked on her eyeliner and black eye shadow to the point where she looked like a raccoon, her eyes were still magnificent and unique in that way which I can’t explain. She was intimidating, but she rarely used her powers until she needed them. She was a very smart and educated queen that used her wits, rather than her ravenous ways that had me quivering in my boots.
