Love and Lies

By Misanthrope

Alas' I spill
What a thrill it is to steal
To drink of your salty ocean
To make every night holloween

I get down in it
And am set free
Lapping up the excess
I kiss your absent eyes
Void of impurity

No difference
Between love and lies
My teeth find purchase
In your beloved valintine

Release the gates
Flood the harrowing sun
I give you a tainted grin
Why should I be the only one

I burrow farther yet
Searching for the flames
That once burned
Deep in your eyes

But it's gone
And so am I
