The Leap

By midnight siren

Let me come closer now, breathe me in
Like the black smoke you inhale
Close the door, I'm praying for sin
To rip away this secured veil
In desperation my mind screams
For some intellectual intercourse
The tears fall down my face in streams
Stop them with your destructive force
Strip away these things that bind me
I want to become part of you
Destroy these things that blind me
Show me what I never knew
Let go & give me all your pain
I'll gladly bear it upon my soul
Kill the hurt & steal the blame
I've opened up so take control
Embrace the darkness & seal the light
Let your words enrapture me
Feel me in the still of the night
As your eyes recapture me
Touch me, let me become consumed
By the passion that you crave
Be the saviour that lets love resume
Awaken me from my eternal grave
