For Love

By midnight siren

I've been awaken from this disilluison
My emotions surcome to mass confusion
What I once knew has become a lie
No conscience I have, no tears I cry
Emotions are no longer important
When the horrors you dream become real & exhorbrant
I awaken to the piercing nightmares of my love's painful screams
As his life was blown away, seem by seem

His soul was handed to fate, carelessly it was forsaken
Now my life is twisted with hate & about to be taken
I would drain all the blood from my veins
Just to bring him back & hear him say my name
My only connection to him now
Is a picture that's torn & faded anyhow
A favorite memory of us forever sealed in the past
Was the only comfort he could find in the moment of the blast
The bloodstained prints showed how he held it so
As if he would die if he dared to let go

Eversince then I've got by in this world called hell
With all it's propoganda & popularity to sell
Everyone goes on, oblivious to the horrors surrounded
Showing apathy for those who now lay grounded
Seeing their smiles & their feelings so shallow
Makes me cold to their fickle emotions with my heart so hollow
With one last look I say farewell

To my nightmare & my hell
My veins start to drain as I clutch the picture in my hand
I feel the pain that took him away & give in to death's command
My painful life slips away as the blood pours out
And with one last breath I hear my mother shout
Love was his motivation to hold on & live
But that was the one thing fate wouldn't give
Instead she handed me a picture, stains of blood all dry
For love was the reason I chose to die
