a fond embrace

By leyos

as the cold wind
wraps around
a couple
in a fond embarce
of goodbyes
there is a cold
sensation between
them
i hold back
the tears of
regret
the tears of
sorrow
this is the
last time
ill hold
you
she wispers
a lump im my
throut is present
i feel
the tear swell
but i can shed
them
for it will do
nothing
for this is
the last time
that i will
feel her like
this
the last time
i will be
able to smell
her soft golden
hair
a chapter in
my life is through
all because of
my stupidity
as i hold her for
the last
time
i wonder
what is
next in my
life
hopefully
not another
fond embrace
like this
