How do you write happy
When there’s nothing happy to write about
Everything’s going wrong
We get in our own way
We make our problems worse
And occupy new ones
I guess I make things worse
So in response, I'm useless
But what I feel inside me
Makes me wonder how can I be useless
When I have such feelings as these
Am I not special to have encountered
Something,

So special and so amazing
That they take your breath away
Sweep your words up and tangle your tongue
Rip your tears from your eyes
And shine a smile across your beautiful face
My words are all I have and
You bring out the happiness inside of me
I know the fights are bad
And I wish just as much as you that they’d end
But I guess trying hasn’t caught up with us yet
Or maybe I feel too much that this is entirely my fault
I've pushed away many times
But I’ve never faulted in my love for you
The times I’ve said those three words
I meant it with every inch of my tattered heart you mended
I can’t believe what we’ve gone through
And truly I wish we would never end
I know I make mistakes
Ones that ended a lot of happiness that was sometimes never there
But that makes me human.
That makes my feelings real
And my life faulty

But now the song is broken
This melody I can no longer hear
And the words no longer remember
My mined lost the feeling
Lost the emotion
Lost the happiness
Everything turned black
Spiraled into a whirlpool of desecrate truths
And we once again became

Our love made us strong
Although lost
Always to be found again
We pick ourselves up
Put on a happy face and show
We know who we are
And we know that no matter what
