My love

By FallenHero

My heart exploded this Christmas when i saw your smiling face in the paper. Thousands of agonizing shards of once happy memories came crashing back into this now cold and frail soul. The taste of your lips, your lilac lotion, the very scent of wood smoke on your worn out blue hoddie all came flooding into the room till i couldn't breath. I sat there reading infront of my family as if it were interesting while my soul let out a scream so primal my ears still ring and my throat still burns. I tried to forget you. Every cut i tried to drip out your laugh, every burn tried to raise your very name from my memory, but you overcame it all. I sit here not wanting to weep, but tears are all i have left of our once timeless love. Why did i push you away. Why did I care so much that you know what you believe. Why did I want you to be more than we were. Now you are the mother to anothers child, wife to another man. Shakespear once worte a play known as Julius Caeser, and in it he states the simple truth of what has damned me to my own 10th ring."Men at some time are masters of their fates: The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, but in ourselves"
I will never stop loving you.
