Broken Body

By precarious pixie

your broken and wrong
you need to be fixed
remolded, realigned
bleed your eyes dry
never let them see you cry
freeze your heart
so that it can not break
chew out your tongue
not to speak against authority
bite your lip
blood masking words or revolution
never to kiss the lover of rebellion
break your shoulders
no longer standing tall
smash your hips
seduction is damnation
pierce your ears shut
the devil is calling
stuff your nose
the roses no longer smell
crack your legs
you can not run away
bind your feet
to dance is to die
shave your head
can not hide behind tresses
you eyes are clouded with spider webs
the world is in shades of gray
the Technicolor spark of life is gone
but remember to paint you body
so that the scars don't show…
