Without Reason

By addicted_angel

Insanity comes when calmness lives
This reunion of old friends
Giving birth to the name addiction
Destroying angels with secret whispers
Only to plant false permanence in a virgin soul
Ripping out everything real

Stealing what you owned
For the feeding of your own demons

I’d have given willfully all you wished
For the promise of a single truth
For a lone breath of sincerity
In your whirlwind of lies
For just one look into your heart
And its many corridors darkened,
Flawed, and built of deceit

And what a beautiful disaster
I could have made of you in your honesty

What an admirable pair we could have made
Our imperfections combined
Unstable and violent, fury fired passion
The world would have bowed to our love
If only it were real....
