Invisible

Buried in shame
Blistered in pain
Seething deep into my veins

Biting blows hit hard
Bones and skin marred

Tears stain my cheeks
No words to speak
Breathless invasion makes me weak

Fallen to my knees
Eyes shut in fear to see

I pray to be invisible this one time
This one last time
