Confusion

By Sigh on Sunday

Tear drop
How treacherous thou art
The Ultimate sign of self pity
I hate you
Mirror, Mirror, in my mind
Who's that person who seems so kind?
He stares at me, he talks to me
Could this person really be?
How perfect it seems to find a friend
Who I can trust, it will never end
Mirror, Mirror, in the sky
I trusted you, you were a lie
I remain alone, here, afraid
You desert me, my debt repaid
Mirror, Mirror, you ask why
I am alone, and often cry
I'll tell what you want to hear
I am your enemy underneath this veneer
Pitiful
As the tear drops roll
Down my neck and to my soul
Why wipe it?
I would then be sane
