Destiny

By maddog

Here I lie awake in bed thinking of you and the words you said,
Roses are red yes violets are blue it seems the heavens have brought me you
But of all the colors of the rainbow, and earths vivid scenes you are the best creation that has been given to me, to cherish and adore my mi amore
I ask myself why in hopes of you forever by my side to share our dreams and paint this canvas with the beauty of our love. With open arms I make my stand here naked just a man to protect you and be your rock. This person I am not…….. without you
The answer to this mystery as the tears of joy and smile collide upon my face
Surreal their salty taste
With every waking moment of you this man I long to be
A world without you is a world gone very wrong for me
Forever in my heart and will always be
You are my destiny.

I may not be in the mood to appreciate this like it deserves. Beautifully written, and I felt the emotion. Lucky you. I hope this feeling still remains.
