False Hope

By maddog

Hostile aggression.
False impression
Feelings that I hate
So peaceful you sleep as I lay and weep
This casket that will now keep
The lifeless soul once filled with raw emotion
I cannot take this anymore
Every life I have ever loved taken evermore
This cage rattled for far too long my threads have come undone
Medicated and sedated I salivate from the mouth
Locked away bound to this bed
Screams of others through the night now play in my head.
Distant from reality I am truly stable
Inner peace has come with a price no more of me to sacrifice
No one to visit or care of my state
Committed to something I can hate
Loss of life loss of love I was never meant to have.

"Committed to something I can hate Loss of life loss of love I was never meant to have" This epitomizes the term false hope. Well done.
