lying temptation

By whispers in the night

It burns the water of my hydration
As it goes down my throat
Salvation
My world slowly starts to fade
hallucination
I thought I had your attention
Hesitation
Realization
With speculation
Im not perfection
Just your rejection
Your affection
Infatuation
Was just a misinterpretation
But oh the sensation
Of when you released your temptation
Painted me in the wrong direction
But we did have a connection
In your arms I felt protection
Was it just my imagination
Bloody condensation
Alcohol concentration
assignation
