Our Time Spent

By pierced clover

If it wasn’t for lust
We wouldn’t have much
If you didn’t fall for my best friend
I wouldn’t have been able to help mend
Thanks to the love rate
There was more than enough heartbreak
But we tried our best
Unfortunately, our sanity grew less and less
Things blew over
Still, somehow got worse
Our friendship continued to rot
I had to keep making more plots
To get you back
Things should never end like that
But your so sweet and forgiving
Could you be the reason I’m still living?
I love you to death
You really should be charged with theft
You’re the most desirable descent guy
Never let me tell you a lie
But now your graduating
Everyone’s congratulating
But I plead, I’ll miss you the most
Because your soul is a beautiful coast
Remember me please
In every single breeze
But not as a mere passerby
And when the wind blows or cries
I’ll remember “Le Roach”
The one guy I had a reason to love most

Dedicated to a good friend, Trent Thompson.
