The Quest

I don't know what it is that I'm searching for
I feel so restless as if there's something more

It's out there somewhere just beyond my reach
I can't seem to focus I feel so incomplete

My thoughts seem to wander I drift in and out
I search for the right words but they just won't come out

How will I know Will I recognize
Will I ever find this elusive prize

Is it something deep down inside of me
Something overlooked, something I've failed to see

I feel so confused I don't understand
I feel out of place I don't know who I am

I waiver back and forth between the dark and right
Could I really be a creature of the night

Or maybe I'm just waiting for the battle to begin
A soldier deemed to fight at the beginning of the end

What ever it is I hope I soon find out
Where it is I'm going and what it's all about
