The Winter Session

By GraySky

It's alright now.
My life just moved to Sunday,
And I've been repaid threefold.

Twisted around,
I don't know
What I expected to see.
Passing through once-hallowed ground,
Remnants of the northern lights,
Speaking the truth to me:
I'll never really
Forget its beauty.

They heard the signs
Of new possibilities,
And it felt as though
They were truly interested.
Wait but a few days.
The Fear will spread.
