Taken In
By TheVampireSergioV
In the night amongst the clouds I soar rain pours I'm soak
and wet
Below I catch a glimpse, a house,light on,warm fire
plus food I bet
Upon the door I knock once then twice, finally
invited inside
Sitting at the dinning table I'm carefully watched
by all eyes
Then displaying a smile as false as the biggest lie
I chat with them all, even hold the little one "Oh
such beautiful eyes"
Hunger pains suddenly hit deep tearing at my insides
But no dish at this table shall curb my appetite
Like the flicker of a flame I unleash my fury and rage
So quickly it spreads, the ones that took me in now
trapped like animals in a cage
My flame now distinguished, sad but content I sit at the
same table alone and bored
After gourging myself and making a meal of what was
once a happy family of four
