Test of Faith

I have lived many lives
Yet this one seems the hardest
In other lives I remember
Feeling the love of a soul mate
Yet in this life, I feel as if
I have done something wrong
Have I angered the gods?
Tell me what have I done
To deserve not to feel this love
In the life I live now
Tell me is there something
I can do to change
What I’ve done wrong
In the past, to cause this
Frustration the gods
Are putting me thorough?
You call this a test of faith
But is all this pain and
Stress really worth it?
Haven’t I proven enough?
When do I ever get
To feel complete again?
So many questions
Yet so many unknown answers
Tell me am I destined
To live this life alone?
Without the completeness of love
I once felt, so long ago
