Irony

Broken Beautiful with tears in her eyes,
she walks in on a hideous surprise.
He says, "I'm sorry baby, but I'm in love with her..
some things just aren't meant to last forever"

But she just tilts her head back and laughs mysteriously.
She shouldn't be happy! he yells, raging with fury:
"Can't you see!? I'm in love with her!
Oh don't you know, you were never mine!?"

Her whole world is crashing down, everything was a lie..
But she just laughs at him with a sparkle in her eyes.
"I'm sorry baby, but I'm in love with misery..
you gave me exactly what i craved, can't you see??"

He didn't understand, everything was a lie..
But she just kept laughing with a sparkle in her eyes..
she said "can't you see!? I'm in love with my sorrow,
Oh don't you know, you were never mine!!"
