Keep Breathing

By stumbleine queen

They say in time all wounds will heal,
But "they" don't know this pain I feel.
All time does is make things worse,
'til life itself becomes a curse.

My shaky hand locks the door
Crimson droplets paint the floor
My bloodstained hand drops the blade
As all my problems seem to fade

They say in time all wounds will heal
Well, "they" don't know this pain I feel
But life goes on, as it always does
And I'll keep breathing, just because.

  • A former member wrote: Life can truly becom a curse and what relief some have found in those crimson drops. The rhyme sceme dose not stick out but makes it flow better. Very well done.

  • A former member wrote: fuckin hell, the truth that rings through these words is deafening.the raw emotion here is paralyzing, the imagery is blinging...all in all this piece has crippled me and left me disabled...very well done
