Born Again 2002

By bloodsoul

A new song plays as you shut your mouth.
Silent children getting older breaking in half.
Your fantasy is my reality, I hid from myself.
So many years, I lost so much time.
She's so used to blaming others, all she did was look inside.
Her heart grows as a tiger enters the room.
I can see a light, an angel saving me again.
I don't care if you are disappointed.
You're rules make me laugh, it's not the same.
After all, your ignorance took all your control.
Sometimes, I wish I never lived your life.
Its so easy to forget who you are.
You already forgot my shame.
Its not fair, dusty fingers blinding my sight.
The smoke clears but somehow you still live in fear.
If she doesn't heal you, who will?
Please accept her, you can't understand until you open your eyes.
I ran away but I still had control.
I've returned with a new persona, you always thought that you knew me.
Then I show up with a smile while you wait for a new day.
Sometimes, you wonder who you really are.
An entrance to your heart, believe in me and I will last forever.
Fading away, finding a new heaven to destroy.
Lust.
Redemption.
I am fine without another headache.
Becoming someone else, she's born again.
Escaping.
Waiting.
Drama.
It's all true.
Her actions living inside my head, I'm done crying.
Twenty-three years without an emotion.
Her mind, it's really not that bizarre.
She just tries too hard.
Maybe, a little attention could tide her over.
Sooner or later, everyone finds an inner light.
Then you ask me “what's the attitude for?”.
I didn't need religion.
I only needed you.
I only needed to live.
