Voice

Perhaps someone will silence you
The object of my obsession
The vibrato voice
The voice that taunts me
The voice that gets applause
Applause for what I can do in my sleep
No recognition
The person
Is my friend
Her voice, however
Is my tourment
I love the person
I appaul the voice
To block it out
Or silence it forever
I'm not sure
Darkness
Light
The fight continues
A fight within myself
