In Transit

By ashrain

he's the one who sits in silence
with open arms to accept
the worlds burdened souls

he's the one who waits with patience
and listens intently
the the murmurs of the open sea

you could try and be like them
but where would you be

i would want to be like him
but he is somewhere I cant see

she is the one waiting
when you step off the train
standing for hours in the rain

she is the one who is crying
for the lost wars in lost lands
and no one else knows why

you could try to feel like them
but would you really see

sometimes I feel like her
but she wants things that I cant be

wait listen tumble fall
sharing isnt caring when the portion is so small

help carry lift deny
we will all be angels when the demoms learn to fly
