Four Chambers
By one-fanged vision
My hand's limbs stretch as spider legs
thirsting to kiss your palms.
nerves spit electric pulses each
moment our weight and skin meet.
I tilt my head to rest on your welcoming shoulder
your arms find their seperate ways to cradle me
fingers sliding slowly along my pale back.
legs swing with yours as I'm transplanted into your lap.
eyes peek out from their half closed blinds
finding a face lightening with smiles
filling in the space between lips and eyes
my hands crawl to your neck
our noses touch, my world is your flesh
our lips, two rose petals on the same flower,
brush against one another's
heavy eyes shield themselves with flesh curtains
I melt into your soul and warm to a flame
breezes caress our romance
tamper with our fire
I open my eyes in search of your
rough cheek to lean mine to
only to find maroon pillows
and blank wall
you are already complete
I have no gap to fill
but the burrowing pain issuing from
my heart
