Easy Pain

It’s easier to write about pain
It’s all the same
You know what you feel
Because it is all real
Its easier to express hate
Many people can relate
Something that’s true
Everyday feeling people go through
Never can you escape
These feelings will await
And strike you whenever
A happy day never
Or am I the only one
That feels life is done
As the world turns
What do we learn
Death, destruction, and pain
Part of living the game
Is it a choice we make
Or a life we create
The path we follow
A life that’s hollow
Empty to the soul
Feeling un-whole
It’s easier to write about pain
Because it’s all the same
