The rose and i

By Deja vu

what once was a beauty
in time became nothing
time itself has scarred
everything good it oncw was
what once was breathtaking
is now broken to pieces under my thumb
the rose
it lived its life cycle
and did what its told
it did its duty to the eye of the beholder
deep in the core
lived something
lived so much more
but all the eye saw was
the beauty outside and never
bothered to see the glory she holds
somewhere i exist
forever fate has been written
the thunder in my soul,my core
the lightning that once was
i fear,is no more
