Two old friends seperated by colors

By Deja vu

i sit in a corner and stare at you,i wont hide
you glance occasionally,no words,no signs
we let the eyes speak the truth, the lies and all that binds

two hollow souls who know the trials
we lived through it,we still breathe, but walk dead and empty inside
we dare not speak of harsh realities
your eyes hint something of care
im saddened by twisted,intertwined lives
two old friends who can no longer speak or laugh or cry
if i tell you the truth of the lies of my life
would you run away
would you stay
or turn your back in shame
somewhere i developed a conscience and changed
would my peace sign be to late
how would you look at me
strange,deranged or filled with hate
the tension became too much, you get up to leave
i follow in blind trust into an alley...

where two old friends continue to meet..
