his eyes sunken in pools of weakness
apendages yearning for return
trapped underneath the parasitic cloak
wrapped around him
draining him of all purpose
silenced by the steady beeps
the line accending with his tired heart
surrounded by blankness
melting into paleness
becoming a picture on the wall.
