In The Silence

By shadowwv

In the silence
there is nothing.
I am alone
trapped in my mind
with thoughts
rampant and roaring.
I am alone
trapped in my feelings
with senses
turbulent and tumbling.
There is nothing
in the silence
except turmoil.

In silence are trapped screams and their thousand echoes. It is turmoil indeed.
