Walls

By no_independence

Walls surround my bleeding heart
hiding all I fear
once I let someone inside
they rip away all thats dear
I'm afraid to let you see
behind this stone in me
what if your like the ones before
and leave me empty on the floor
In my loneliness my walls come down
I open up to you
you rip whats found
and tear my heart in two
I hate so much my precious walls
though I will die once it falls
hungry bests will tear me apart
but what's living with a trapped heart
