Of Self

By M4V3rIcK

An outspoken individual
all in complete silence
with a smile so fake
on a face so pale

A youngperson with no emotions
and feeling inside
and an old rugged silence
fighting to hide

A child who has been hurt by hatred
and healed by flame
brushed with death
and torn by reality

Who lied and kept secrets,
screamed and whispered,
and whose mind disappeared
as they drifted off to sleep
and were filled with nightmares
