Shinning Star

By Yukionna

I woke up this morning
And the world felt like such a perfect place
I looked out the window
And felt the sun beating down on my face
I closed my eyes
Your face is all that I could see
I still couldn't belive
That you said you would always love me

You called me today
Told me you would come over at three
You told me tht you loved me
And that you would always be there for me
You laughed when we talked
Said you had a suprise and you couldn't wait
You promised to be here
You're always happy when you call it a date

At three forty-five
I began to get upset
At four fifteen
You weren't here yet
At four forty-five
I called your cell phone
At five o'clock
You still weren't home

I got a call from your sister
She said you had crashed
I couldn't belive it
She said your heart had been smashed
I grasped the phone
As she told me you died
I fell to the ground
That's the first time I cried

She contnued to tell me
That you weren't in much pain
She said you were dazed
But you called out my name
She told me not to worry
You're in heaven now
She said it would be alright
But I couldn't imagine how

I started to say goodbye
But she had one last thing to say
"I wanted you to know
He had a suprise for you today
They found a note and a ring
Next to him in the car
It said 'Will you marry me
My beautiful shinning star'"
