Awakening

By M4V3rIcK

The hands of darkness
reach out to grip my
my very soul

Sending and icey chill
through my spine and
into my mind

My eyes close as the sweet
embrace of death enfolds
its arms about me

I begin to feel light and
free as I feel my life
essence leaving me

Then suddenly death releases
his embrace upon me and
I am flung back into existence

I single drop of blood touches
my lips, it's taste ignites a
fire deep within my being

I rise to my feet and face the
one who shared of thier blood
with me

And I smile at them and kiss
them lightly, for she is my life,
my sire,
the reason for my awakening
