Tears Shed By Night

By Quovis

Freedom comes in one fatal swoop,
And leaves behind a dangorous loop.
Pain and deciet is what I held before,
The reason's gone, yet I feel it more.
Lonley and depressed add to it still,
Building upon the instinct to kill.
The act not to others, but onto my own,
These feelings I have I've never shown.
And to this moment, I hold on tight,
Strong by day, the tears shed by night.
