The Shadows

In the shadows,

there harbor monsters plenty,

however the demon is inside,

as the world clock moves on, 

one realizes with age,  

the monsters are gone, 

but the demon remains,

in the confines of one's concience,

deep in the shadows it remains, 

the darkness personified,

evil cannot be tamed.
