a map to nowhere - three

By TheCellphoneNovelist

three ; a map to self ; a map to discovery,
Andromeda chained to cliffs ; water boiling,
the depth of seas is measured by agony ;
agony of self ; reject what is part of you ;
throw it off like shells, shedding your being ;
when you stand on shoulders of giants,
you see farther into the sea ; Andromeda ;
you hang naked before the great mirror ;
closing your eyes, ashamed of your body ;
what part of you can be rejected
before you drown ; Andromeda ;
do you remember Perseus slaying the monster ;
there was no monster, no Perseus ;
only you ; staring into mirrors ; into the depth.
