If I Could Not Dream

By Cassidello

If I could not dream
I would not sleep
For without those dreams, I could not see
The blissful stolen moments
The time replayed and frozen
Of when my hands were around your throat
Or when I'd peeled off your skin, and get to wear it as a coat
Or how I sent you off to sea with the sharks, tied to a weakened boat
And all the times I held that gun to your head and made you write off those suicide notes

So

If I could not dream
Why would I sleep?
See, I'd have to find you myself
And make those dreams reality
